IN THE MEADOWS | 2016

I spent 5 months getting to know Miguel, David, and Danielle - three young adults from Colorado Springs who are trying to build a future for themselves — and their community.

This was a collaborative project. They each got cameras to document their own lives and shape their narratives. This project culminated in a community event: a gallery of their photos and a screening of this film. We sold their photos and raised over $760 for Meadows Park Community Center to start a scholarship for their after school program.
